**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a **Material Planner **to join the team in Europe&Central Asia Supply Chain Operations.
The Planning organization is responsible for driving material replenishment, tactical planning of production, and operational planning with factory daily management systems.
You will deal with the replenishment of Base Material categories and will belong to a virtual Planning Hub. As such you will be working remotely from our Converting factory on a variety of exciting challenges.
You will be reporting to a Material Team Lead and work closely with other material planners, capacity planners, and suppliers.
In this position you will be based in **Gornji Milanovac, Serbia** or in **Arganda Del Rey, Spain**.
**What you will do**:
- Regularly challenge/update safety stock and maintain inventory in an optimal level
- Deploy KPI losses and drive improvement actions and follow through
- Ensure accurate planning by maintaining Master Data in the systems & tools timely
- Place order to supply, monitor order status till arrival, keep updated in the system & tools
- Ensure good cooperation with suppliers including RFC, ordering, delivery
- Monitor demand and supply deviations, identify supply issues and take action where needed
- Collaborate with peers and cross functions (Capacity Planners and Logistics) to secure smooth material flow for production and delivery
- Be an active participant of global or local material planning initiatives and project
- Using planning tools to support your analytics and decision-making
**We believe you have**:
- Min. 2-4 years of operational experience in the Material Planning or other similar operational area of expertise
- Academic degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with SAP R3
- Experience working with MRP (Material Requirement Planning) tool
- Having worked intensively with APO-R (SAP) being a big advantage
- Solid knowledge in material planning process and tools, logistic flow
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience in continuous improvement methodology
- Confident user of various IT tools such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), WebEx
- Flexibility
- Good communication skill with the ability to build strong relationships across all functions within all seniority levels
- Ability to challenge the current process and create new one with documentation
- Ability to work autonomously, drive continuous improvement, challenge current practices and processes
- Analytical mindset and a keen interest to business operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
