We are searching for the best talent for aManager, Procurement Warehousingto be located at São José dos Campos, Brazil. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Procurement Warehousing Americas, the Manager, Procurement Warehousing will be responsible for leading the Latin America regional procurement warehousing activities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies for 3PL warehouse services across the LATAM region, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, reliable service, and long-term partnerships.
Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement while maintaining high-quality service levels across the region.
Lead contract negotiations with warehouse suppliers and ensure compliance with agreed terms, policies, and regulations in each LATAM country.
Work closely with internal teams (logistics, operations, finance) to understand business needs and ensure that procurement strategies align with operational requirements.
Monitor market trends and industry changes to proactively adjust procurement strategies, leveraging insights to stay ahead of the competition.
Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, and external market factors that may impact the warehouse procurement category.
Track supplier performance, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that procurement goals are being met. Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities and outcomes.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior work experience in either Procurement and/or Warehousing Operations; experience in both is highly desirable.
Knowledge of regional warehouse industry / warehouse service providers.
Strong Leadership, Influencing, Collaboration and Communication/Presentation skills are required.
Able to prioritize requests and propose cost effective/customer focused alternatives when necessary.
Pro-active with the ability to show creativity/innovation in developing new approaches and resolving issues.
Ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate coordination of large matrixed and/or virtual teams.
Well organized, highly numerate with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
Strong analytical and data management skills. Highly proficient in Excel and/or Sourcing Tools (e.g., Scout, Keelvar).
Self-motivated with capability of working independently and taking ownership of deliverables.
Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English (written & spoken).
