Role Overview:
The Country Lead, Community Health will be responsible for the co-design, implementation, and management of a Community Health Model aimed at improving access, equity, and patient outcomes in underserved populations.
This role involves working closely with local healthcare stakeholders, including government entities, NGOs, and private sector partners, to develop sustainable interventions for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
The successful candidate will lead program strategy, access solutions, and impact measurement while ensuring alignment with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Design & Management
Lead the end-to-end design and execution of the Community Health Model in Brazil.
Conduct health system assessments to identify key challenges and intervention opportunities.
Develop strategic plans, monitoring frameworks, and operational roadmaps for implementation.
Manage project workplans, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficiency and impact.
Healthcare Access & Business Strategy
Develop access models for underserved populations, including pricing, distribution, and promotion strategies.
Assess business cases for interventions, measuring patient reach, cost-effectiveness, and investment impact.
Engage with local third-party providers and partners to drive execution and scale.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Development
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and healthcare providers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., commercial, medical, finance, public affairs).
Advocate for policy changes and capacity-building initiatives to drive long-term healthcare improvements.
Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Design monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to track program performance.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to refine strategy.
Communicate program impact and success stories to internal and external audiences.
Key Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business, Public Health, Medicine, Economics, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or global health.
Strong knowledge of the Brazilian healthcare landscape, including health system policies, access models, and patient pathways.
Experience in NCDs, cardiovascular diseases, or chronic disease management (preferred).
Background in health system strengthening, policy advocacy, and access strategy is a plus.
Fluent in Portuguese & English (oral and written).
