We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) focused on Oracle to manage, maintain, and optimize our database infrastructure.
The DBA will ensure the performance, security, and availability of mission-critical databases, supporting business applications and development teams.
This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) and Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022), including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
Required skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced English level Large experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Oracle and SQL Server.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database tuning techniques.
Experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, SQL Server Replication, and Partitioning.
Strong knowledge of database security, auditing, and access management.
Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions such as Azure SQL, AWS RDS for SQL Server, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Experience in database automation using scripting languages (SQL, PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
Preferred Certifications (Nice to have) Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: SQL Server Database Administrator AWS Certified Database – Specialty Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and administer Oracle Database and SQL Server environments, including clustering, high availability, and replication solutions.
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN (Oracle) and native SQL Server backup solutions.
Ensure database security, including access control, encryption, and compliance with industry regulations such as LGPD,GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX.
Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations across different environments.
Develop and maintain database procedures, scripts, and automation tools for administration and maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to support SQL development, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Implement high availability solutions, such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, SQL Server Always On, and Failover Clustering.
Plan and manage database capacity, scaling, and resource allocation.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
