This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments for goods and services acquired by the company.
The position involves verifying invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
The AP Analyst will also collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment issues and contribute to the company's financial operations.ResponsibilitiesResearch, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.Work with ERP software.Handle sensitive information with integrity.Monitor vendor account details to identify non-payments, delays, or discrepancies.Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues.Assist in planning cash flows and managing financing needs.Monitor accounts payable aging to ensure policy compliance.Support the accounting team with general tasks as needed.Prepare weekly payment batches to fulfill financial obligations.Assist with general office tasks as part of daily operations.Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or advanced-level coursework in Accounting or a related field.Experience: Relevant experience in accounts payable or similar roles with a strong understanding of financial processes.Language: Advanced English proficiency (B2 level or higher); Portuguese is a plus.Technical SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational skills.Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Dynamics Business Central is a plus.Familiarity with financial statements and basic data management.Soft SkillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Advanced negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.Okeanos Group, LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
