In this role, you'll contribute to transformational payroll processes, compliance initiatives, improving reporting, and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) optimization.
The Payroll & HRIS Analyst reports to the Senior Manager of Human Resources Information Systems.This is an exciting opportunity to use your analytical skills to enhance efficiency, improve systems, and support a culture of continuous improvement.Work Model: Hybrid work-model designed to maximize both flexibility & collaboration with 3 standard remote/flex days.How You'll Impact Results:Streamline & Lead Payroll Operations:Accurately processes and manages multi-stage payrolls (2 weekly & 3 bi-weekly), including benefits deductions, retirement deferrals, garnishments, union dues, and bonuses.Ensure Compliance & Reporting Excellence:Maintain adherence to federal, state, and company policies.Support 3rd party audits for retirement plans and payroll records.Routine reporting internally and to union representatives.Manage and enhance data & employee records within the Dayforce timekeeping systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues or inconsistencies in data.Collaborate across HR, Finance, and IT to identify and implement improvements.Support and contribute towards HRIS identification, implementation, and trainings.Seeks solutions for inefficiencies or opportunities for system upgrades/integrations.Address payroll-related inquiries & provide user guides for payroll topics and HRIS functions.Provide training on systems and self-service.Create user guides to enhance employee understanding and satisfaction.Lead Projects:Lead key payroll initiatives, such as year-end processing, system upgrades, and policy updates.Collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field required.3-5 years of payroll processing experience required.Proficiency in payroll systems like Dayforce or Kronos.Experience with multi-state payroll processing.Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to use advanced functions and analyze large data sets for reporting.Experience in HRIS system (SAP, Workday, UKG, Bamboo HR) management & payroll integrations.Analytical mindset with a focus on details, accuracy, and efficiency.Excellent communication skills (Written & verbal) with a customer-focused approach.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.Experience maintaining confidentiality & handling sensitive information.Just Born is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability / Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender Identity.Our Pledge to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:At Just Born Quality Confections, we pledge to create a workplace where associates feel inspired to bring their whole selves to work.We are committed to acting boldly with integrity, authenticity, and humility to listen, learn and grow.
