Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.What You'll DoWe are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our growing Brazil Finance team. This role is to be based in Brazil. You will work alongside existing members of the Brazil Finance team and partner with them and others within Epic to provide day-to-day accounting and transitional assistance, deliver high-quality financial reporting, and support ad hoc finance-related projects for Epic Brazil. This will enable us to provide complete and accurate financial reporting to the US and the United Kingdom. The role will take responsibility for building best in class reporting and control structures to ensure that Epic’s financial and operational performance is optimized, scalable and clearly communicated on a timely and accurate basis.In this role, you willBe responsible for the management of the financial accounting, including accrual and provision calculations and postings, reconciliations and financial closing activities (monthly and yearly).Financial accounting Reporting for Epic UK and US.Management of the annual statutory audit.Collaborate regarding system and process enhancements.Fixed asset accounting and administration (including depreciation, asset tracking, and leases).Tax declarations, statistical report preparation and submissions.Be the point of contact for any accounting or transactional queries from the Business.What we're looking forFluent in Portuguese and English; any other languages are appreciated.3-5 years recent and relevant work experience.Bachelor’s degree in accounting with Active CRC.Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting processes and procedures, ERP systems (Senior Sistemas and Workday are preferable), and MS Excel; Google Sheets is a plus.Experience of dealing with External Auditor requests.Strong communications and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.Attention to detail, organization, and experience in a fast-paced environment.EPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEWe pay 100% for benefits for both employees (EEs) and dependents (deps).
