Automated Lab Equipment Service Engineer Location - USA - Shreveport, Jackson, Columbia Budget - USD 65000 - 90000 Need US Citizens or Green Card Holders Job Purpose - The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining medical laboratory equipment, including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills in electronics and electro-mechanics to ensure optimal instrument performance and customer satisfaction. Roles And Responsibilities - Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automated lab instrumentation. Provide basic on-site training to customers on equipment operation. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. Manage and maintain service tools, parts inventory, and documentation. Work closely with the Field Support Group to coordinate problem resolution. Travel as needed, including overnight stays, to service equipment at various locations. Must-Have Qualifications - Certificate or Associate degree in Electronics or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer. Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics and electro-mechanics. Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or similar equipment is preferred. Ability to travel overnight as required. Full COVID-19 vaccination required.
