**What You Will Do**
As the Head of the Video Department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the video production strategy for SiGMA Group.
Your responsibilities will include:
**Strategic Planning**
You will develop and implement strategies and objectives for the video department that align with SiGMA Group's overall goals.
Staying informed about industry trends, audience preferences, and advancements in video production will be crucial in ensuring our content remains cutting-edge and relevant.
**Team Leadership**
You will lead a team of videographers, editors, animators, and other professionals across different continents.
This includes overseeing the hiring, training, and performance management processes.
**Production Management**
Your role will involve developing and maintaining production schedules for all video projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally utilized.
This includes assigning tasks to team members based on their skills and availability, and coordinating with freelancers and AV teams to ensure optimal project completion.
You will also oversee the maintenance, inventory, and procurement of video production equipment, ensuring all gear is in working condition and available when needed.
**Recruitment and Training**
Leading the recruitment process for new team members, including videographers, editors, and other production staff, will be a key responsibility.
You will identify talent needs, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions together with the talent acquisition team.
Additionally, you will provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in video production techniques, equipment operation, and software proficiency.
**Communication and Risk Management**
Facilitating clear and effective communication within the team will be essential.
You will ensure everyone is informed about project requirements, deadlines, and any changes or updates.
Identifying potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks, will be a crucial part of your role.
**Documentation and Continuous Improvement**
Maintaining accurate records of project details, including schedules, equipment usage, and freelancer contacts, will be important for reference and reporting purposes.
You will seek opportunities for innovation and improvement in video production processes, technologies, and techniques, implementing changes to drive ongoing growth and excellence.
Travelling will be included to alternative summits held worldwide throughout the year.
