Your main missions and responsibilities will be:Secure the best maintainability conditions for your domain areas. You will be dealing with technology platform and application development for AB Volvo business areas when maintainability is at stake.Contribute to maintainability roadmaps and its synchronization with technology roadmaps working in a global and cross-functional environment with other engineering areas, different stakeholders and across departments.Participate in the technical solutions developments ensuring that solutions are built in accordance to the aftermarket business needs and the workshop environment, going from an easy and assertive diagnostics to the most appropriate and cost-effective spare part assortment with technical and environmental sustainable strategy, maximizing customer uptime allowing the best repair procedure, ensuring quality of repair and safety.Act as the maintainability expert in the product development contributing to maximize vehicle’s uptime through the maintainability strategies for an assigned product and/or technology, performing early analysis, concept reviews and packaging studies.Use data collection and analysis to accelerate data-driven decisions related to maintainability and conduct in-depth maintenance cost analysis building product and technology business cases to influence concept selection optimized for maintainability.Coordinate work with Brands and uptime stakeholders to document customer needs (product targets) and translate these into quantifiable product and technology requirements for maintainability during the product development.Your future team:You will be part of the Aftermarket Technology team in Curitiba and will have colleagues working across the world and work in different networks of engineers and business partners. Aftermarket Technology is a vital part of the Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) organization. GTT is the research and development organization of the Volvo Group.
