Responsibilities:
1. Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
2. Supports the site's projects roadmap implementation aligned with Hoshin Plan.
3. Plans and leads basic Lean Sigma projects (Kaizen Events/ One Safran).
4. Participates in the implementation of advanced lean methodologies (VSM, SMED, TPM & DMAIC).
5. Develops process mapping to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement through business.
6. Supports development of Lean Six Sigma methodologies by eliminating production wastes.
7. Sustains the QRQC program and evaluates business metrics accuracy.
8. Promotes and uses problem-solving methodologies (Analytical and negotiation skills), develops innovative solutions, and pursues quality improvements.
9. Assists with workstation design, Standard Work, line balancing, and layout improvements.
10. Assists and pursues the deployment and sustainment of 5S methodology.
11. Supports timely internal follow-up reports (CI progress or management meetings).
12. Serves as instructor for basic courses that teach personnel how to assess, identify, and improve their own needs and opportunities.
13. Fosters the Lean Sigma culture within the organization.
14. Sustains, drives, and promotes the Employee Suggestion Program.
15. Keeps focus on best practices sharing and implementation.
16. Prepares presentations to review status of projects as appropriate.
17. Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Complementary Description
This position is a Continuous Improvement professional role, applying Lean Manufacturing activities to improve operations regarding process efficiency, quality, productivity, and savings. This professional works actively on Kaizen events/One Safran wave, supports operations, and promotes a lean culture in the company. Utilizing lean tools, they help the organization develop or deploy the 5S program, participative innovation, and layout changes, while maintaining a continuous learning environment with production and support functions.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
2. Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma methodologies training.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes is a must.
4. Experience in Aerospace or a related industry is desired.
5. Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies - Basic.
6. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing - Basic.
7. Capable of managing large amounts of data and multiple tasks.
8. Ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization.
9. Strong ability to analyze various options to determine the best solution for the organization.
10. Self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic team environment and produce results with minimal management guidance.
11. Capacity to do benchmarking.
Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)
1. Lean Sigma Green belt certification.
Computer Skills:
1. Strong proficiency in the use of common software packages including MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
2. Capable of managing large amounts of data and tasks.
3. Competency in performing data analysis through data business analytics services (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
