**About the Role**:
UberEats is one of the fastest-growing businesses at Uber. We're scaling our sales teams, operations teams, regional teams, product/eng teams all at the same time. The biggest challenge that our product operations team is facing is to make sure that we grow together.
The Head of Marketplace will lead a highly analytical team who is in charge of acquiring and engaging our valued earners and ensuring marketplace reliability. This role reports into the Regional Operations Director and will be a member of the LATAM Regional Operations team for UberEats.
**What You'll Do**:
- Lead your team in three main workstreams: courier experience, market balance and marketplace quality
- Represent the voice of the earner on our leadership team, and be the champion for this meaningful customer group as it pertains to product and business operations
- Ensure we build a safe and enticing earning opportunity for couriers
- Build a sustainable advantage through the quality of our delivery and marketplace operations
- Be a great cross functional partner to the many teams that you will need to work with given the central importance of your team's work to our business: Marketing, Policy, Legal, Comms, Tax, HR, Recruiting, Safety, Platform, Finance, CommOps/Support, Sales, BD and more
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 12 plus years of strategy, operations, business analytics, consulting or related experience
- Sound leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding project management, analytical and data management skills
- Ability to build, lead and engage diverse teams
- Evidence of successful complex stakeholder management across a variety of functions
- An appetite for taking risks in a fast paced, competitive, and often ambiguous environment
- Strong technical and analytical capability - can do as well as a lead
- Great interest in and knowledge of our systems and technology, enabling point focused on the efficiency and to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Professional proficiency in English
