Job Summary
The number and complexity of the functions of our agricultural engineering products has increased significantly.
This trend is expected to continue over the next few years, but the pace of change will continue to increase.
AGCO's solution to this is a modular platform strategy to develop technologies and solutions in a way that allows us to reuse these innovations across different products and brands.
Another challenge is that state-of-the-art features must be developed to meet global product liability regulations.
In agriculture, standards such as ISO 25119, ISO 13849, ISO 12000, etc., drive this definition.
To meet these requirements and also to avoid systematic and random hardware failures in the safety lifecycle, certain processes must be followed during development.
The resulting process must be integrated with the rest of the AGCO Group's processes.
Specifically, the new product development process, which involves cross-functional product management, engineering, manufacturing, production, purchasing and marketing.
The Senior Manager, Global Head of Functional Safety will lead this function globally.
The job holder will have strategic responsibility for the direction of operations as well as operational responsibility for the function.
