You will be responsible to support assigned stakeholders, developing strong relationships to effectively drive key chapter business functions and partnering with chapter leaders and mentors to deliver programs and services that support the maintenance and growth of existing PMI chapters, successful delivery of member value, and opportunities for long-term partnership with chapter leadership. Support new business development, satisfaction, and retention in assigned regions, ensuring strategic focus and alignment with PMI’s corporate objectives, operational strategies and market needs.What you’ll bring to the role:Support assigned regional stakeholders, engaged in developing strong relationships to effectively drive key chapter business functions in partnership with chapter leaders and mentors, delivering programs and services that support the maintenance and growth of existing PMI chapters, successful delivery of member value, and opportunities for long-term partnership with chapter leadership.Attain business targets and expand organizational customer base by utilizing the chapter network. Support both Private and Public Sector clients.Develop and implement chapter country plans to increase PMI impact in the given region.Serve as a primary relationship leader within the region/country to key stakeholders in the market and within the PMI community.Build an effective industry network through your chapter network in your region.Attend networking chapter events, potentially representing PMI as a speaker, to elevate PMI’s presence and enhance brand awareness in the region/country.Support the growth of PMI’s presence and influence with chapters and actively drive business activities in line with PMINext strategy.Participate in new business development, satisfaction, and retention in assigned regions, ensuring strategic focus and alignment with PMI’s corporate objectives, operational strategies and market needs.Act as a “trusted advisor” within their chapter relationships and work with multiple chapter leaders to increase adoption of PMI’s products and services.Focus on building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Identify lead generation opportunities and help contribute to the team’s efforts to grow the stakeholder base.Provide valuable feedback to PMI regarding reactions to new products and services that PMI would like to launch into the marketplace.Partner with chapters to ensure the successful execution of established business plans and local market strategies and application of appropriate processes and policies to attract, retain and enhance chapter member experience.Cultivate and strengthen relationships with chapters, volunteers, mentors, PMI communities, suppliers, and other partners to expand market approaches and/or identify value-added offerings through those relationships.Supports special projects addressing regional community needs, including event support, engagement and retention initiatives, and chapter/community sustainability efforts.Role Qualifications:The candidate MUST reside in either Brazil or Colombia.Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered.Minimum 5 years in an account management and business development capacity.Understanding of a business to consumer (B to C) environment highly desirable.Exceptional ability to think and present from an objective viewpoint, proactively engage and facilitate discussions with a broad range of stakeholders.Successful advocacy with corporations through working with your chapter network.You have an engaging and influential personality with excellent communication and motivational skills to inspire chapters boards to adopt PMI’s product offerings to their members and local organizations.Ability and willingness to become thoroughly familiar with project management, the profession, and PMI in order to build credibility and respect with customers.Customer-facing experience, with a particular focus on problem solving and resolution of customer issues.Demonstrated success with a consultative sales style to help as well as influence stakeholders.Ability to work as a team member of major projects and initiatives with multi-discipline internal and external team members.Positive track record of business results and proven ability to develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and generate organization growth.Demonstrated ability working with customers, volunteer leaders and external organizations from diverse cultures and backgrounds with a track record of positive relationships with material outcomes.Demonstrated strength with digital technologies, including knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and CRM.Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English) and Spanish as its region language.Engaging presence and presentation.Seizes opportunities.Business acumen.Delivers added value to Chapters/volunteers.Possible up to 25% travel.What you can expect from usWe value and nurture an environment of inclusivity and diversity, and a culture of communication and collaboration.
