Each service area, whether it's business insurance, workers' compensation management, disaster recovery, safety, personal insurance or human resources management, has its own practice leader who also works directly with clients on those specific issues.Group Benefits Account ManagerResponsibilities:Service an assigned benefits book of business, both small group and mid-marketRepresent the Agency in a professional, ethical and courteous manner consistent with the Agency imageDevelop and maintain relationships with clients to retain businessResponsible for retention goal of 98%Receive and return calls in a professional, timely and courteous manner, provide a positive client experienceDocument each customer interaction in agency management systemCollaborate with the sales team to develop renewal and retention planGather information and quote applicable carriers through rating softwareEnter data into agency management system as needed for each clientPrepare applications, obtain signatures, and issue policies as directedMaintain confidentiality of company and client informationMinimal travel to clients may be requiredAll other duties, responsibilities or activities as assigned by managementQualifications:High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of related group benefits account management experiencePennsylvania Life and Health Insurance license requiredUnderstanding of insurance coverage forms, carrier products and company underwriting guidelinesKnowledge and ability to use individual company software and programs to quote policies when requiredSkilled use of carrier rating platformsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with an agency management system, preferably Applied Epic, and Employee NavigatorActive desire to pursue learning through educationDemonstrate persistence and ability to overcome obstaclesSelf-motivated to set and achieve goalsKnowledge of processes for providing customer and personal services, principles and methods for promoting and selling productsAbility to manage one’s own timeAbility to organize, plan and prioritize workloadAbility to take direction and work both independently and as part of a teamStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to listen and speak effectively to othersAdhere to agency guidelines for placing businessHours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmOffice Location: 60 W.
