**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- Work effectively with Technical Product Managers to own & ensure delivery against agreed priorities
Responsible for project oversight, process improvement identification and implementation, risk mitigation, cost management, and hiring.
- Grow the team and guide the career development of team members, including both technical and interpersonal skills necessary for being effective and successful in a professional software engineering organization.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in DevOps, SRE, Software Development teams with at least 4 years managing those teams.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps (build, continuous integration, deployment tools) and standard methodologies.
- Experience in code deployment tools such as (Terraform and/or Puppet and/or Ansible and/or Chef).
- Experience working with Jenkins, Git and Other CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Fluency in one or more of these languages: Typescript/Javascript, Golang, Java, or C#.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and/or AWS primitives such as EC2, EKS, AMIs, Code Deploy, etc.
- Familiarity with common compliance frameworks that impact software development such as FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2.
