You'll have the opportunity to grow your career while developing personally and professionally through various resources and programs.Work ScheduleThis position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.Role SummaryThe Producer Compensation Analyst is a client-facing role that handles inquiries via toll-free line or general service email box from clients and brokers, collects and validates required documents and data elements to complete initial commissions' system setup to ensure accurate and timely commissions' payment to brokers, and processes assigned portions of Broker of Record (BOR) change requests as needed.ResponsibilitiesCollects and validates required documents and data elements to complete initial system setup, process broker of record changes, and pay broker commissions.Provides timely and accurate responses to phone and email inquiries from internal and external business partners.Monitors and processes assigned manual commissions payments through payment processing software.Complies with departmental policies regarding ethical and proper use of company equipment, including internet access, email, and phone usage, in compliance with New York Life Information Protection Policy.May assist other Premium Audit Teams as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field or equivalent previous work experience is preferred.Demonstrates a strong focus on Service Excellence when partnering with internal and external business partners.Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.General understanding of accounting principles and control procedures.Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Excel and MS Access.General knowledge of accounts receivable procedures and systems for reviewing premium remittance payments is preferred.Ability to work successfully independently as well as part of a team.Salary and BenefitsSalary range: $42,500-$62,500 Overtime eligible: Nonexempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: NoStarting salary is dependent upon several factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, and/or skills required.Diversity PromiseWe believe in a diverse workforce because it is our mission to advocate for the financial security and success of people in every community.
