MISSION
The Solutions Architect serves as a motivational futurist, technology evangelist, and implementation planner for our clients and employees. The most valuable outcome of this role is that our stakeholders understand _how_ our solutions are the right size for their challenges while enabling them for several years of growth.
OUTCOMES
- Ensure robust solutions to clients’ unique problems.
- Right size. Ensure all client solutions are appropriate for their current ecosystem, capabilities, strategic roadmap, and long term maintenance capacity.
- Right cost. Ensure that solutions are the right mix of build, buy, open source, modules, etc that maximizes the clients’ ROI.
- Align stakeholders. Produce deck slides, given presentations, and other activities to ensure stakeholders from the C-Suite to team developers are inspired and aligned on vision.
- Manage high level implementation of client solutions.
- Mature clients’ _Architecture Roadmap_. Ensure every project has an Architecture Roadmap inclusive of diagrams, schemas, and other deliverables that is always _six months ahead_ of current activities.
- Guide engineers. Ensure engineering efforts focus on the right-size/right-cost solution to prevent over-engineering and developer spiraling.
- Resolve escalations and misalignments. Own and alleviate escalations about technology issues by conducting workshops, producing reports, and other necessary tactics.
- Individual contribution. Maintain 69+ monthly billable hours, including coding, program management, and other activities as needed.
- Evangelize technology and future trends.
- Account _Technology Radars_. Ensure every account has a Technology Radar that unifies their ecosystem into a coherent strategy.
- Authoring. Author at least 8+ blog/LinkedIn articles per year.
- Thought leadership. 2+ public contributions (blogs, open source commits, speaking, etc) per Production employee per year.
