We are seeking a qualified Environmental Engineer for a temporary, project-based role to oversee environmental aspects of a specific project from design through construction. Position Summary:
The selected Environmental Engineer will be responsible for managing environmental compliance, conducting impact assessments, and implementing sustainable solutions during the design and construction phases. The role also involves direct communication with relevant authorities to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle
2. Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations
3. Develop and implement wastewater treatment and waste management strategies
4. Provide environmental consulting during design and construction
5. Ensure adherence to local and international environmental regulations
6. Communicate with relevant authorities, including Prefeitura de Brusque (Fundema), to obtain necessary approvals and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
2. Licensed and registered with the Prefeitura de Brusque (Fundema)
3. Experience in environmental compliance, impact assessments, and consulting
4. Knowledge of wastewater treatment and waste management solutions
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
6. Relevant certifications in environmental management or engineering
