What the role looks like
You will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and publishing engaging multimedia content across various social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives. The main goal is to craft a wide variety of innovative, compelling and engaging content, from static visuals and texts/captions to dynamic videos and interactive formats, that drive engagement and enhance brand awareness. On a secondary level, this role supports the tasks of the Social Media Strategist and Community Manager, particularly in the field of community management.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Communications or a similar field
Work Experience
At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
Job-Specific Skills
Fluency in English – both written and spoken (Any other language is a plus)
Excellent storytelling and creative writing skills
Creative problem-solving and ability to generate original, attention-grabbing ideas
Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
Good organisational and excellent time management skills
Adaptable and quick to adjust to trends and platform updates
Photography, Videography and Graphic Design knowledge is desired
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite desired
Experience with Social Media Management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Amplify, etc. is a plus
Good people skills and friendly and diplomatic demeanour
Your Main Tasks
Develop creative, high-quality content, including graphics, photos, videos, reels, stories, and written captions that capture attention and drive engagement.
Monitor trends and stay up to date with innovative content formats and explore their use for the company to provide an edge over competitors.
Research topics from internal stakeholders and build them into compelling stories and impactful campaigns that support the business goals of the company.
Establish and maintain a good internal and external network and collaborate with stakeholders on content projects and curate content for brand ambassadors.
Build and maintain a clear and structured content calendar.
Schedule and publish content in line with the group's social media strategy and optimise style and timing for key target groups.
Conduct content audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with key external stakeholders and influencers on impactful campaigns.
Track and analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, views, shares, conversions).
Secondary task: Community Management. While Content Creation and Management is the clear focus area, the Content Creator supports the group in all relevant areas of Community Management.
Preparation of insightful content reports.
Support the Social Media Strategist with the wider social media operations. Additional tasks in the field of social media can be requested on an on-demand basis.
