JOB DESCRIPTION
Brazil Legal Entity Controller group is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial statements and to manage the Capital of the legal entities in the location and ensuring business booking in the legal entities complies with the applicable regulatory requirements. This role reports to the Senior Finance Officer in the location.
This is a Vice President position to lead the capital management initiatives connected to Brazil franchise strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead capital management initiatives agenda.
2. Lead strategic initiatives in regulatory changes such as RWADRC, RWAOPAD and FRTB as well as changes to legal lending limits arising from RWADRC.
3. Support the business in terms of regulatory limits analysis and working on new products implementation and new regulatory initiatives.
4. Consolidate and present the annual Capital Plan to regional senior leaders.
5. Develop Capital Management consolidation solutions.
6. Lead, influence and inspire LEC team members.
7. Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere among team members, ensuring a collaborative work environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
1. Years of experience with Capital management regulatory reports (DDR, DLO, DRM, Pillar 3, etc.).
2. Deep knowledge of Banking Products including Derivatives and associated risks.
3. Expertise in bank regulatory capital rules.
4. Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Calculation.
5. Knowledge of MS Office package; VBA language is a plus.
6. Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
7. Strong analytical and logical skills.
8. Proactive attitude and learning interest.
