About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled AEM Front-End Developer with hands-on experience in building AEM templates, components, and front-end integrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and content teams to develop dynamic and scalable AEM-based web applications.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Develop responsive and high-performance AEM templates, and components using HTL (Sightly), HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
* Work with AEM Editable Templates, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Sling Models to build reusable and scalable components.
* Integrate third-party APIs and services into AEM components.
* Collaborate with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and content authors to implement high-quality digital experiences.
* Ensure AEM authoring environment usability, enabling content teams to manage and publish content effectively.
* Debug and resolve front-end performance issues, cross-browser compatibility issues, and accessibility challenges.
* Work within an Agile development environment, participating in scrum meetings, sprint planning, and code reviews.
* Stay updated with the latest AEM features, front-end technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience as an AEM Front-End Developer
* Strong proficiency in HTL (Sightly), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS)
* Experience in developing AEM components using Sling Models and ClientLibs
* Hands-on experience with AEM Core Components, Editable Templates, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments
* Familiarity with AEM Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies
* Experience with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
* Knowledge of AEM workflow, content authoring, and publishing processes
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Desirable skills:
* Experience with GraphQL & AEM Headless CMS.
* Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Target, and Adobe Launch.
* Knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
* Exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
* Familiarity with client-side rendering frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Svelte, Solid.js, or Next.js/Nuxt.js.
* Experience working with serverless and edge rendering architectures.
* Experience working with development best practices, including WCAG accessibility, performance optimization, and SEO compliance.
