Role
We are looking for an Upgrades Project Manager responsible mainly for Upgrades project implementations, sales engineering support, proposal generation, and providing technical expertise for local solutions. You will support the Market during sales by having a deep understanding of customer needs and Upgrades Portfolio.
You will also present the Upgrades portfolio, design, and implement big, complex, customized project engineering solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead project management for Upgrades by executing and implementing projects, following up on activities, securing resources, and managing stakeholders like markets (sales), Processing Solutions and Equipment, Customer Services Operations, external suppliers, and customers.
* Recognize sales in SAP, manage costs, and budget.
* Be responsible for the performance of the Upgrades project, delivering it on time, within budget, and according to expected technical specifications and performance.
* Be responsible for customer satisfaction related to the delivered Upgrades project.
* Execute handover of the Upgrades project, including documentation and adherence to mandatory requirements.
* Provide technical/engineering and financial expertise in quoting Upgrades solutions requiring deep knowledge and ensure legal and commercial policies are followed in quotations.
* Support Services Sales Team along the sales process, providing technical analysis, value proposition, and customer presentations according to a pre-defined scope of offering aligned to customer needs.
* Follow up quotes throughout the process by tracking open proposals and capturing new business opportunities.
* Support providing information on product performance, new trends, technologies in the industry, competitor analysis, and collection of this information to disperse to the Sales and Portfolio Teams.
* Secure clear alignment with involved stakeholders like market (sales), sales support, delivery organizations, and suppliers to flawlessly implement the offered solution.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in project engineering/management.
* Relevant mechanical, electrical, and automation skills, prior experience working in hands-on positions preferred.
* Experience in food engineering.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical/Automation, Mechanical, or Food Science) or equivalent experience.
* Ability to communicate with customers at all levels and capable of managing their expectations.
* Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
* Commercial and business skills.
* Strong stakeholder management skills as well as being analytical and results-driven.
* Service-oriented with ability to work in time-pressured environments.
* English language skills is a pre-requisite.
