About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Public Sector Sales Manager to join us in Brasilia, Brazil.
In this role, you will lead a team of sales account managers for our government vertical.
You will manage sales, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement within the assigned territory.
As a Public Sector Sales Manager, you will also develop and maintain relationships with our channel partners and key accounts, while working on selling Red Hat's platform offerings and services under a partnership agreement.
What you will do:
- Successfully sell our offerings and services in an assigned territory or industry vertical
- Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and by renewing and growing existing accounts
- Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative information, demonstrations, and price quotes for our offerings
- Develop and close sustainable revenues across technologies
- Create accurate sales forecasts and close sales in line with Red Hat's goals
- Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success in the software industry with Public Sector
- 5+ years of leadership of sales teams
- Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
- Ability to work as part of a new and dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and desire to make things happen
- Good understanding of customer business and technology offering requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, following Red Hat's COVID-19 guidelines
