Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to design and oversee plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate should have strong plumbing system design experience, including proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, and be open to learning and adapting to U.S. (Florida) plumbing codes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design plumbing systems for residential and commercial buildings, including water, sewer, greasy waste, stormwater, gas and water-based fire sprinkler systems.
* Develop detailed plumbing construction documents and specifications.
* Perform demand flow and head loss calculations, and size equipment (pumps, water heaters, interceptors).
* Ensure compliance with applicable construction codes and regulations.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate plumbing solutions seamlessly.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing system design, preferably within MEP engineering.
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
* Strong understanding of plumbing design principles, calculations, and best practices.
* Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality plumbing projects.
* Ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate effectively with teams.
* Working knowledge of IBC Plumbing; ASPE Handbooks; and NFPA 13, 20 & 25
* Prior experience working with U.S. clients or projects.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certification from ASPE.
* Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
