Overview: Work with business, IT and data team to define and govern best in class data architecture to ensure end-to-end execution and delivery of enterprise wise data organization & consumption, including the mobilization and orchestration of project resources.
Define standards and patterns for data engineering and architectural frameworks for real time
and batch data processing and analytics.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop enterprise data architecture: define the principles for acquisition, storage, enterprise data services, and data access for a variety of use-cases
- Evolve and adapt the data platform to latest open source technologies
- Architect and design how data is consumed and published e.g.
real time data, use
of Kafka, in-stream analytics, APIs, pub /sub patterns
- Document the current and target data architecture and environment to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture
- Explain data architecture concepts to the business and engineering community and relate them to business problems than solutions
- Define and discuss high-level requirements, solution design, and business data stewardship through a variety of techniques when working with business partners, third-party groups and internal staff
- Act as the primary advocate of data modelling methodologies and data processing
best practices
- Lead multiple projects and efforts to orchestrate and deliver cohesive data solutions
in partnership with related business and IT teams
- Collaborate with IT teams, software providers and business owners to predict and devise data architecture that addresses business needs for collection, aggregation and interaction with multiple data streams
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years in data architecture and technology
- 10+ years of experience in database administration and design of which 8+ years
of experience in data-engineering-related field
- Experience implementing end-to-end architecture and design for big data, cloud, data warehouse, and business intelligence with corresponding expertise across various toolkit
- Strong foundation in data engineering and experience of using Agile techniques and drive for innovation.
Ability to mentor and guide engineers and business analysts
- Strong expertise in BI, reporting and visualization practices (ideally leveraging PowerBI)
- Experience with open source technologies (e.g.
Python, Scala, Flink, Beam).
Experience of real time data patterns using Kafka, Change Data Capture
- Deep experience with NoSQL databases, data visualization, and unstructured data
- Ability to partner with development teams through outstanding collaboration
and communication
