**Job Purpose**:
Processes and manages the administrative processes within the Purchasing Department in order to contribute to a correct and timely processing documentation of information.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the organization sticks with its purchasing policies and procurement by running advertisements asking suppliers to place formal bids.
- To ensure all purchases are consistent with the needs of the organization, train departments on purchasing guidelines and verify all purchase departmental requisitions.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Solid organizational skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 1-2+ years experience in similar purchasing position
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Knowledge of market research
- SAP knowledge
