We are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Director to join our talented team, in Montes Claros, Brazil. In this role, you will provide senior leadership on assigned programs and projects including profit, safety, and client management. You will oversee assigned Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure achievement of contractually required quality in design, construction, commissioning and qualification services. Position Responsibilities Oversees programs and/or multiple assigned projects, while ensuring the achievement of safety objectives. Leads assigned project managers to achieve corporate and project goals. Trains project assignees on good project management techniques and develops skills of all assigned personnel. Develops prime contract with Client. Oversees coordination of design, commissioning, and qualification schedule requirements with construction schedule. Works closely with Project Manager to forecast final cost of project periodically. Coordinate with Financial group to manage Accounts Receivable to meet corporate goals. Oversees assigned Project Managers and Project Engineers in the negotiation and management of subcontracts and purchase orders, including change control documentation and related financial documentation. Monitors quality of document control and recommends corrective actions for document control deficiencies. Works with Estimating to develop project budgets. Ensures that all IPS design, construction, and compliance activities on project delivery projects comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Mentors assigned Project Managers and Project Engineers, evaluates opportunities for their improvement and advancement, and recommends actions to exploit those opportunities. Assists Discipline and Operations Directors in the evaluation of Project Managers and Engineers as well as technical personnel. Oversees evaluation and payment of vendor and subcontractor invoices as required to meet project and corporate goals. Supports Director of Operations and General Manager in preparation of proposals. Minimum 5 years experience in Pharmaceutical Projects and operations Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience. Is licensed and stamped/signed drawings per applicable law. Travel based on the project location. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.
