Intuition Machines uses AI/ML to build enterprise security products. We apply our research to systems that serve hundreds of millions of people, with a team distributed around the world. You are probably familiar with our best-known product, the hCaptcha security suite. Our approach is simple: low overhead, small teams, and rapid iteration.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented analyst to play a key role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will design, implement, and execute efficient testing processes to identify potential issues early and ensure seamless functionality. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to delivering exceptional user experiences by proactively addressing challenges and driving continuous improvement in product quality.
What will you do:
* Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
* Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications to validate usability and performance, in an agile manner that maintains the fast pace of delivery.
* Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects and inconsistencies using tools such as JIRA and Slack to facilitate team alignment.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (development, product, and design) to understand requirements and proactively suggest quality improvements.
* Conduct regression testing to ensure stability and reliability after code changes, deployments, and feature additions.
* Stay informed on emerging testing tools, techniques, and best practices to continuously refine testing strategies.
* Create and present QA status reports, highlighting key findings, risks, and metrics to stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
* A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
* Proven experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, or similar role, preferably with exposure to multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
* Developer background or familiarity with coding practices to collaborate effectively with engineers.
* Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
* Familiarity with Agile development practices while being adaptable to other methodologies or workflows.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and investigate complex issues for a deeply technical platform, while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
* Clear and timely communication skills to effectively convey findings to technical and non-technical teams.
* Proven ability to integrate testing seamlessly into existing workflows while supporting delivery timelines.
Nice to Have:
* Experience in the fraud & abuse space, particularly with systems designed to detect and prevent bots and human fraud.
* Proven success working in asynchronous communication environments, especially for managing and solving challenging projects with distributed teams.
* Experience testing for edge cases and behavior under unusual conditions, such as high traffic or attack scenarios.
* Familiarity with performance testing or security testing tools to support specialized QA needs.
What do we offer:
* Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
* An inspiring team of colleagues spread all over the world.
* Pleasant, modern development and deployment workflows: ship early, ship often.
* High impact: lots of users, happy customers, high growth, and cutting-edge R&D.
* Flat organization, direct interaction with customer teams.
We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all members of our team. Join us as we transform cyber security, user privacy, and machine learning online!
