**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled **Senior Drilling Technician** to join our team.
This role involves commissioning, maintaining, and repairing our advanced drilling machines, as well as operating them when required.
The position reports directly to the Mechanical and Site Superintendent.
**Responsibilities**:
The Senior Drilling Technician ensures the after-sale service on-site and will be responsible for:
- Reassembling Robodrill drilling machines on-site after transportation to ensure proper setup.
- Setting up and testing the machine thoroughly before starting operations.
- Supporting Mechanical and Civil Engineers by assembling, installing, and analyzing machines to meet project needs.
- Conducting site inspections and maintenance to ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
- Ensuring compliance with project plans and completing tasks according to contract specifications.
- Performing site commissioning and starting the machine with the customer.
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance, upgrades, and renovations on drilling machines while adhering to safety standards and production requirements.
- Providing customers with guidance on the best practices for using the machine.
- Identifying and mitigating risks by setting up preventive measures.
- Training on-site operators in driving and maintaining the machines.
- Supervising the inspection and maintenance of machines to ensure continued efficiency.
- Managing technical issues and maintaining good customer relations.
- Communicating with the French design and technical department to ensure optimal machine performance and efficiency.
**Skills and Qualifications Required**:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in on-site aftersales service, preferably in international environments
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to various working conditions, especially in tunnel construction settings
- Proficiency in English and French
- Highly specialized knowledge in the industrial field, specifically in electromechanical assembly and automation machinery
- Proven leadership and/or project management experience (5+ years preferred)
