**Job Description**:
Position Overview
The Asset Manager will assist with a wide range of activities all directed toward the same goal: maximizing the profitability of Invenergy's and its Customer's operating assets.
**Responsibilities**:
Commercial Management
- Commercial management of a portfolio of renewable assets, either under construction or operation, across Brazil.
- Independently manage, control, and ensure contractual compliance and client satisfaction in the delivery of asset management, operational, and technical services.
- Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions related to renewable assets.
- Create and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
- Manage and resolve contractual, legal, regulatory, and commercial issues as they arise.
- Manage day-to-day stakeholder relationships (internally and externally) with local and state authorities, regulatory agencies, landowners, end customers, field service teams, finance / accounting teams, and other parties needed to operate renewable assets.
- Collaborate and execute as needed in the writing, formatting, processing, and timely execution of reports and client deliverables.
Finance
- Develop annual budgets for the projects and perform periodic variance analyses.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and management.
- Perform financial analyses of aftermarket improvements.
- Develop other ad-hoc analyses as needed.
Operations
- Collaborate with the operations and engineering teams to evaluate and improve operational performance.
- Coordinate with project O&M staff on other operational items, including major component repair and replacement.
- Coordinate with commercial and energy marketing teams to find revenue improvement or risk mitigation opportunities.
Regulatory and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and project agreements, including operating agreements, credit agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, land leases, and power purchase agreements.
**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Economics) and coursework in Finance or Accounting.
- Able to operate independently and as a part of a team to meet the demands of a rapidly developing business.
- Minimum 7 years of job experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the energy industry is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Some travel will be required to support projects and attend meetings at company headquarters in Natal.
