We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our high-impact team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will take ownership of building, optimizing, and scaling our data pipelines and infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, values autonomy and wants to work with a collaborative international team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow
* Write clean, efficient code in Python to support scalable ETL/ELT processes
* Own and evolve internal data infrastructure and integration pipelines
* Monitor and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
* Collaborate with global teammates in English across product and engineering
* Operate independently while contributing to technical direction and architecture
* Work during EST hours to align with the core team
Must-Have:
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar technical roles
* Advanced-level experience in Python programming
* Proven hands-on knowledge of Apache Airflow
* Background working in small teams or startups
* Comfortable working autonomously and owning complete solutions
* Conversational English for team collaboration
* Availability to work within the EST time zone
* Located in Brazil or open to working in a similar time zone
Nice to Have:
* Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
* Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud environments
* Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
* Understanding of data quality and observability best practices
