Secondary Geography Teacher
Location: The British College of Brazil – São Paulo – Brazil
We're looking to recruit a Secondary Geography Teacher to join our team at The British College of Brazil school, a Nord Anglia Education school.
THE SCHOOL
The British College of Brazil (BCB) is one of the leading international schools in Sao Paulo offering contemporary British international education to students from Pre-Nursery through to Secondary. Founded in 2011, BCB has established itself as the school of choice for international families and internationally minded Brazilian families within Sao Paulo.
Our school values developing the whole child - academically, pastorally and socially with the principles of Positive Education and Growth Mindset underpinning our approach. With the child at the centre of our decision making, we believe that we are best placed to offer an outstanding education for all students in our care.
THE ROLE
We'll look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school's Secondary curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. You will foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.
ABOUT YOU
You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school's level of achievement.
Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Brazil.
