**Position Summary**
This leader will be responsible for the technological direction of the Janssen LATAM group serving as a critical point of contact for business and the IT Region for IT execution. The individual will be responsible for developing IT as a competitive advantage and enabler for the LATAM business providing innovative solutions aiming to transform the customer experience.
Serves as a thought leader in I/T and is recognized as an authority in the field. Understands how I/T works end-to-end and the impact of solutions across the enterprise. Leads or sponsors highly visible, complex projects, programs or solutions that are critical to the Pharma business in Brazil. Works effectively as part of the CLT and leads a team. Addresses complex problems with broad implications for I/T architecture, balancing the often-competing needs of standardization and innovation. Makes decisions regarding resource alignment/dedication and prioritization (people resources, dollars/funding, project criticality) and communicates rationale back to the business. Contributes to the strategic planning process and long-term direction for I/T, the business and aligns plans between stakeholders.
Leads the most complex, critical projects that may be matrixed, cross-functional, and/or global in nature for Brazil and the region. Anticipates business needs to influence the development of solutions; maneuvers through a matrixed set of relationships, influencing direction and receiving input from various stakeholders. Leads the formulation of innovative ideas and solutions on products, processes, and systems.**
**Qualifications**
- BA Degree (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of direct people management experience
- Must have be able to speak fluently in Spanish or Portuguese.
- 10+ experience in leading and executing complex, multinational IT projects.
- 10+ years of experience in large global Pharma/ Healthcare organizations
- Deep understanding of business drivers/processes and ability to relate priorities to associated technology investments, experience working across multiple levels of an organization, knowledge of trends (e.g., digital, big data)
- Expertise driving adoption to improve IT, business experience, previous experience driving technology strategy for a line of business, able to synthesize leadership and stakeholder inputs into decisions and experience representing customers/users while translating business process needs into IT solutions.
