Day by day, this area supports the factory's team (Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing) to raise and implement solutions that will contribute to our consumer experience, reflecting directly in our Quality indicators as SCR, CstaR and NRFT, or pushing cost reduction opportunities that will contribute to portfolio profitability.What you'll do:As a Jr Product Care Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating, supporting and implementing cost reduction and quality improvement activities, focusing on continuous improvement in Electrolux products and processes within the Food Preparation category.

We'll help you go higher than ever before, and you'll help us shape living for the better - one product at a time.In detail, you will:Quality Improvement - work in a cross-functional team focused on raising solutions to our main quality/product issues coming from the process or field.Coordinate the prototyping, performance and quality verification, tooling quotation, part cost quotation, sourcing, production trial out and approval of components and finished assemblies.Contact internal departments (Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Service) and external suppliers (local and global).Keep BOM's (Bill of Materials) updated, take care of internal Engineering Modification Processes like ECR's (Engineering Change Requests), ECN's (Engineering Change Notices) and manage approval documentation in our systems according to internal procedures.Support/prepare action plans, monitoring the activities progress, ensuring timing plans are on track, evaluating and discussing the risk assessments.Organize test and pilot series with the production.Use development/quality tools like FMEA's (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), project planning tools, quality plans, test plan and follow up actions.Ensure creation of component specifications according to Electrolux Standards.Control costs to targets (product/technology module cost).Support user manual maintenance when applicable.As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).Who you are:You have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical or Production);Knowledge on technical drawings (interpretation, geometrical tolerances, etc);Experience in R&D with product development, quality improvement or cost reduction activities;Knowledge of engineering materials and processes (e.g., metal, plastics, stamping, injection, enameling);Knowledge of white line appliances and packaging development is a plus;Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks, ECR/ECN processes and Electrolux Food Preparation processes is a plus;Knowledge of MS Project, Jira, SAP and/or Teamcenter is a plus;Advanced Office skills;Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).Where you'll be:You will be based at the São Carlos plant, located in Vila Prado.
