We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Public Relations (PR) Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s public image, ensuring consistent and positive communication across various media platforms. The PR Manager will work closely with the Marketing team to develop strategies that support business objectives, build brand awareness, and maintain strong media relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective PR strategies to improve and maintain EBC Financial's brand presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Coordinate and manage media outreach, press releases, and corporate announcements to ensure consistent messaging.
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR effectiveness, media sentiment, and brand perception.
Oversee crisis communication and manage media inquiries during sensitive or challenging situations.
Organize and manage events, press conferences, and media interviews.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between PR efforts and broader business objectives.
Maintain an up-to-date media contact list and manage press materials, including press kits, FAQs, and fact sheets.
Prepare executive speeches, presentations, and talking points for media interactions or public events.
Monitor and track industry trends, competitor activities, and news to identify potential PR opportunities or threats.
Manage the PR budget and ensure cost-effective execution of PR initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR or communications, preferably within the financial services or related industry.
Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in bothEnglish & Portuguese ; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong networking skills and the ability to build and sustain relationships with media professionals.
In-depth knowledge of media landscape and digital PR tools.
Crisis communication experience is an asset.
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into PR strategies.
