Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Operations Performance Leader will provide expert knowledge and thought leadership and strategic operational guidance and direction for all production and operating facilities with moderate presence in multiple regions.
In this role, you will consult facility leaders and support areas (CSSP, HR, BOSC Plant Finance, FP&A, PRO, CBS) on standards for costs (consumption and price indexes), safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
You will also connect with development areas to support new projects, SKUs and operational strategies (planning, R&D, PMO, commercial) and their impacts on plan performance.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with operations and quality management on establishing deliverables to ensure requirements for customer, product and quality standards are met within specifications.
Consult with plant leadership to develop strategy for capital and operating budgets for a most complex plant to achieve short and medium term financial performance objectives set by the business and ensure accountability for meeting and controlling operating expenses and established targets.
Accountable for the overall operational management of a group of plants to implement operational efficiency improvements including standardization of plant information manufacturing systems, quality control, safety, production reliability excellence and maintenance and operators best practices.
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
Partner with plant managers to understand cost actuals and improve cost forecasting models
Partner with purchasing areas to understand, improve and sustain results on cost reduction / cost avoidance
Partner with NPSS and CAPEX projects teams to execute innovation workflow (and additional income generation) #BOSCFIBI2030 Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Administration, Economy, Engineering)
Solid related work experience - Plant Operations, Finance applied to Plant Operations
Fluent english PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Digital fluency and acumen
Budgeting and operations planning experience
Negotiation, leadership through influence
