**Job Summary**
The IT Applications Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, improving, and maintaining Avient's business systems with the goal of impacting/increasing Avient revenue and profitability.
This role proactively partners with the business units and functions to enable Avient to achieve its growth targets, build a Great Place to Work, and meet its sustainability commitments.
Beyond typical systems projects, this role will play a lead role in meeting the regional initiatives as well as driving the overall Avient IT Strategy including the integration of the recent acquisition of the global $1B Clariant Master Batch business.

- Leads strategic initiatives and projects
- Manages, leads, and fosters a high performing team.
Champions team member development.
- Understands and integrates business and technology trends with strategic and tactical plans
- Proactively seeks out business leaders to identify opportunities and priorities
- Proactively suggests and promotes technology and processes that deliver value
- Navigates a complex organization to build consensus and alignment
- Manages team capacity, focusing resources on highest ROI for Avient
- Partners to ensure Avient business systems are secure, reliable, and cost-effective

**Education, Experience and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related business field required.
- SAP or Oracle experience is strongly preferred.
Will consider other ERP system experience.
