Job: Technical Manager
Shift: Day
Location: Mars Petcare (Aurora, NE)
*Relocation available if needed*
The Technical Manager is accountable for the safety, quality, and performance of all equipment and technical systems on site in both the short and long term. The Technical Manager is also responsible for capital projects execution on site and contributes to long-term site development by leading the site master planning process.
What are we looking for?
* Higher technical education - Associate Degree needed or higher
* Management of engineering or maintenance team in FMCG business for more than 3 years
* Capital projects execution with a budget of more than 1M USD
* Experience working with Global teams/suppliers
* A master at conflict management
What will be your key responsibilities?
* Ensure the safety of all equipment and technical systems
* Ensure legal compliance and Mars standards compliance for all equipment and technical systems
* Ensure quality requirements compliance for all equipment and technical systems
* Manage equipment reliability and maintenance costs
* Execute capital projects on site
* Collaborate with all managers on site from different functions (operations, HSE, R&D, etc.) as a key team member in the factory management team
* Share experience with other Technical Managers and the regional engineering team at the regional level
