Responsibilities:
1. Counsel the contractor’s flow assurance engineering for Offshore topsides and pipeline engineering, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, including codes and standards. Motivate the contractor to promote compliance.
2. Supervise the development of Contractors Flow Assurance studies, reports, and ensure the operability envelope of Gas & MEG Pipelines for start-up, normal operation, and transient conditions. Oversee the Flow Assurance engineering interface between Topsides, pipelines, and onshore facilities.
3. Coordinate risk management activities such as Design Risk Assessment; provide support to Operations and Commissioning advisors on specialized detailed flow assurance engineering.
4. Participate in key design workshops to ensure that flow assurance engineering recommendations are correctly implemented, and actions are closed before the end of EPCI (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
5. Coordinate the engineering interface between other topsides engineering disciplines, onshore facilities (offshore scope), and pipeline engineering as well as the following teams: Operations, Drilling, Well Management, Jacket, Pipelines from the topside’s perspective, and Onshore Project Team.
6. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) regarding the disciplines involved in delivering flow assurance engineering related to topsides and pipeline engineering, ensuring endorsement of process technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
7. Coordinate Offshore Commissioning/start-up Reviews, Pre-Start-up Reviews, and provide guidance and input during detailed design for the Offshore Packages as required. Offer guidance and input into Contractor strategies/procedures to achieve project integration objectives as needed.
