HR- Lead / Specialist / Manager (Role is that of an Individual Contributor) Department: Human Resources – Brazil Reporting To: DGM – Human Resources (Emerging Markets) & Regional Head - LATAM Job Summary: Act as a strategic partner to the Business Head and manage the implementation of HR strategy at the respective business / function and in order to facilitate the achievement of business goals. Specific Job Responsibilities: Participate in discussions with Business / Function Leaders for finalizing strategic priorities for the financial year. Translate business / function priorities into key HR priorities and chart out the HR plan for the year by incorporating aspects of overall HR strategy and Business / function specific requirements. Prepare a manpower plan for the business in accordance with current and future business requirements. Manage implementation of the talent acquisition process, in line with central talent acquisition guidelines (talent sourcing, short listing, interviewing, selection, offer processing, on-boarding activities) Ensure labor compliances to all local statutory requirements. Help in the annual budget process for Brazil and Peru markets. Salary benchmarking of local pharma companies and share inferences with corporate HR team. Determine new hire compensation, compensation benchmarks, retentions, seek business / central approval and implement. Conduct employee onboarding surveys, engagement surveys, etc. to evaluate engagement level of employees, address gaps by strategizing and deploying an action plan. Gain a thorough understanding of business needs in terms of capabilities, map existing gaps and guide the development of L&D plan for the region. Facilitate training, collect training feedback & conduct ROI analysis. Drive the annual Goal setting, Mid-year & performance appraisal process for the region in strict adherence to the specified timelines. Implement and communicate annual increment decisions, in conjunction with Business Head Ensure employee queries are addressed in a prompt manner and escalate to senior management where applicable. Initiate and manage disciplinary proceedings in cases of employee misconduct. Manage separation (termination / resignation) process for employees and drive analytics from data gathered in exit interviews. Relevant Skills & Experience: Diploma/ Degree in Human Resource Management/ Labor Management 8-12 years of experience Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. Required Skillset for the role Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Should be able to work as an individual contributor. Excellent project management skills. Hands-on approach and a 'can-do' attitude High on energy and enthusiastic about achieving high levels of excellence. Fluent in English.
