Summary
The role will be the point of contact for regional Total Rewards with key local stakeholders, including the HR team, Managers and CASA leadership, supporting the coordination, execution, and governance of compensation programs and projects aligned to Griffith Food’s broader Total Rewards framework. The role will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative reward, recognition and performance approaches, including driving the annual global merit and company bonus programs, The role will be the key player in supporting the global Total Rewards strategy and ensuring regional governance, system automation, and maintenance of the programs as needed within the CASA region. The role will be the key driver to ensure fair and equitable total compensation and benefit packages in line with the overall Griffith Foods strategy. Will also ensure compliance with local legislation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Drive the annual merit and company incentive program processes including the maintenance and upkeep of any such systems and the data integrity with the broader regional HR team. Ensure a fair and equitable process along with an local legislative matters.
2. Job evaluations and compensation benchmarking that align with the Grififh Food’s framework and methodology while ensuring consistency as well as fair and equitable practices and in compliance with local regulations. Will help develop salary structure design and ensure the upkeep in line with enterprise wide standards
3. Managed Benefit renewals and work with the relevant broker/vendor to pursue opportunities for improvement. Benefits Inventory collection and analysis. Day to day benefits resolution and management as needed
4. Act as a business partner for Total Rewards for the region by understanding the business need/challenges and providing technical and high valued compensation and benefits advice and solutions in line with the Griffith Foods enterprise wide approach. This includes deploying effective communications and educational training to necessary stakeholders. Will also include driving analytical based thought to resolve issues and ensure equity
5. Collaborate with other functional areas such as HRIS, IT, Finance, Legal with insights and analysis and business feedback as well as coordination with systems and processes
6. Participate in the Total Rewards initiatives including compensation and benefits survey management, market data competitive analysis, and regional deployment of total rewards initiatives
Qualification
7. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent education/professional training
8. Minimum 5 years of related experience across broad based total rewards programs, specifically compensation focused. Prior experience in food manufacturing a plus.
9. Strong experience in job evaluation methodologies, quantitative and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
10. Experience in designing compensation and benefits programs, guidelines and processes and guiding strategy in these areas.
11. Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently, meet deadlines and escalate appropriately to management
12. Advanced Excel skills to develop and maintain spreadsheets and perform data analysis
13. Must be a self-starter with the proven ability to successfully perform in a changing environment that involves directing multiple projects and developing and executing strategy, while balancing tactical requirements of the role.
14. Possess experience in systems implementations
15. Experience with Workday, SAP, ERP, Oracle, PowerBI, ServiceNow
16. Fluent level (oral and written) in English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.
17. Up to 15% travel availability.
