General Responsibilities• Lead the development and execution of strategic, customer-centric communications plans for the Latin American poultry and swine businesses, ensuring continuous progress, alignment with business objectives and measurable impact.
• Own and drive marketing communication initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring stakeholder alignment and business success across key Latin American markets.
• Drive the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of marketing communication campaigns, ensuring alignment with regional business goals and maximizing engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.
• Develop and maintain a clear MarCom roadmap, ensuring projects progress efficiently while adjusting for regional market dynamics, business priorities, and opportunities.
• Develop compelling, audience-specific messaging that clearly communicates the value proposition of NOVUS products and solutions, ensuring consistency across all communication channels in Portuguese and Spanish.
• Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content tailored to the Latin American market, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Develop marketing materials, ensuring regional alignment with global brand positioning and customer needs.
• Direct and manage external agency partners and vendors, ensuring timely execution, localization, innovation, and effectiveness in campaign delivery.
• Support and execute thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, blogs, webinars, and speaking engagements, to position NOVUS as a leader in the Latin American monogastric industry.
• Ensure all marketing communications reinforce NOVUS' brand positioning and market differentiation in the swine and poultry sectors across Latin America.
• Proactively identify opportunities and gaps in current regional marketing communications efforts and implement solutions to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Analyze industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and customer engagement across Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.
• Use marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
to track performance, optimize marketing strategies, and ensure continuous improvement in the Latin American market.
• Implement performance tracking methodologies to refine messaging and optimize campaign success.
• Design and implement integrated, multi-channel marketing communication strategies across digital, print, social media, industry events, and public relations (PR) in the region.
• Develop relationships with key media publications, editors, and industry influencers in Latin America.
• Serve as the primary marketing and communications contact for Latin America, engaging proactively with key internal and external stakeholders to drive business impact.
• Continuously explore and propose innovative marketing communication tactics, leveraging emerging technologies, digital platforms, and industry trends relevant to Latin America.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align MarCom initiatives with regional sales and business development goals, ensuring a seamless go-to-market approach in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.
• Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures related to position assignment.
General Guidance for Key Knowledge/Skills/Experience• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Life Science Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, OR comparable training with 4+ years of experience in marketing and/or marketing communications within the agriculture industry in Latin America.
• Strong awareness of the Latin American poultry and swine industries, including market economics, key drivers, and regulatory considerations in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.
• Proven ability to develop and drive strategic marketing campaigns, identify opportunities, and adjust marketing efforts based on regional insights.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable analysis tailored to Latin American markets.
• Experience with brand positioning, thought leadership initiatives, and storytelling to enhance NOVUS' market presence in Latin America.
• Strong leadership and ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects forward, meet deadlines, and make proactive adjustments as needed in response to regional market conditions.
• Experience managing external agencies for localized content creation and campaign execution.
• Strong collaboration skills with global and regional cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural organization.
• Experience with multi-channel marketing strategy development and execution in Latin America.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
).
