About the Position:
The Event & Donor Stewardship Manager is responsible for supporting the organization's strategic and fundraising goals by serving as the lead for fundraising events and mid-level donor relationships. This role serves as an ambassador for First Tee – Orange County at network events and speaking opportunities, aiming to advance the organization's mission by increasing donor giving, engagement, and retention.
Main Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Community Outreach:
Coordinate and execute annual fundraising events, focusing on successful outcomes and revenue growth.
Manage event logistics, budget, timeline, vendors, guests, and staff/volunteer engagement to ensure smooth operations.
Utilize Givesmart Fundraising Tool to create and execute digital fundraising campaigns, handling financials, guest logistics, and information.
Develop sponsorship packages for each event, securing sponsorships and managing primary sponsor relationships.
Engage with volunteer committee members, staff, and volunteers to assist with event planning and execution.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop collateral and marketing efforts promoting each fundraising event.
Donor Relationships and Development:
Develop a comprehensive annual plan to identify, cultivate, engage, and steward donors, enhancing relationships and motivating giving.
Engage with mid-level donors and sponsors through personal interactions, marketing materials, and donor experiences.
Work closely with the CEO to refine and manage donor/sponsor stewardship programs, fostering strong relationships.
Identify donor prospects, engage new donors, and grow annual giving revenue through developed strategies and plans.
Contribute to department procedures and practices to boost efficiency, accuracy of records, and achievement of fund development goals.
Ensure accurate donor gift entry and acknowledgement process, maintaining up-to-date records through the Givesmart CRM.
Essential Qualifications:
Demonstrated passion for First Tee – Orange County's mission and ability to align organizational objectives with fund development and donor stewardship goals.
At least 3 years of professional experience in development, fundraising, and event roles, showcasing success in similar positions.
Excellent planning, project, and time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
