The Transportation Operations Management team is looking for a Regional Manager with leadership experience to own and execute strategic and cross-functional yard operations.
An ideal candidate is organized and has excellent program management skills.
He/she has the ability to lead and mentor people; analyze data and make sound recommendations in an often ambiguous environment.
One of the main responsibilities in this role is to standardize and improve processes while analyzing and eliminating the root cause of defects within the current systems.
This job will require exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence change at a local (facility) and Network level.

Key job responsibilities:
Own TOM field operations at BR Fulfillment Center and Sort Center in South Region;
Own the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for yard management activities in the region;
Manage a group of TOM Ops Lead within the regional cluster.
Drive a performance culture, instill ownership and create a high-performing team;
Lead projects and initiatives to drive improvements on cost and speed;
Be the main point of contact of transportation inside FC, being the chairman to negotiate new projects entrance and act as problem solver to solve issues that affect BR sites;
Establish and own performance metrics and communicate them to leadership;
Ensure the standardization of process across shifts and Sites within BR Network;
Flexibility to travel and work outside of regular business hours.
A day in the life:
The Transportation Operations Manager has complete responsibility for Transportation Operations at a number of sites within a pre-defined region of the country.
This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our internal goals while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques;
Experience working in another logistics environment;
Experience in Microsoft Excel in advanced knowledge;
Experience in SQL;
