Job Description
Create 3D models and 2D drawings of components, assemblies, and finished products respecting internal standards and customer standards and norms.
Update 3D models and 2D drawings of components, assemblies, and finished products based on feedback from the development process and production processes.
Create simple calculations and feasibility studies.
Knowledge application of GD&T. Analyze and define different types of geometric tolerance - form, orientation, and location (e.g. Position, Maximum material requirement).
Archive design data (e.g. intranet, SAP, and PDM/PLM system).
Execute data transfer to customers, suppliers, and tool manufacturers (e.g. KVS, Open DMX, Teamcenter, etc.).
Support product development engineers in the documentation of all project activities.
Support in technical and project-specific customer care.
Support the development team during the launch phase of new tools or processes.
Improve existing modeling methods and standards (e.g. processes, guidelines, tools) valid for all segments in terms of increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
Continuously improve skills in new technology areas (visit suppliers, exhibitions).
Communicate closely with suppliers and the development team during the RFQ and project phase to improve design from the perspective of best cost.
Perform simulations to reduce design time and redundancy workload on the FEA team.
Act and compel colleagues to behave as ambassadors for Quality and Safety.
Understand the importance of technical compliance and ensure adherence in daily business.
Maximize internal & external customer satisfaction by demonstrating ownership and dedication towards ensuring high-quality results and process-orientation.
Own the quality of all outputs in the dedicated responsibility area as a process member or process owner.

Qualifications
Technical education (e.g. Ing., Dr.);
Experience with CAD;
Experience in the automotive industry is an asset;
Demonstrated experience with CAD- and PLM-Systems is an asset;
General outlook in the industry field. Experience in CAD design;
Working with the team internally and on an international level is an asset.
