Job description
How will be your day at work:
1. To manage the quality of suppliers through KPI’s;
2. To establish strategies with suppliers for continuous quality improvement;
3. To manage corrective actions with suppliers (robust solutions, within target timing and demonstrated effectiveness);
4. To work in search, selection and development of new suppliers;
5. To ensure the implementation of Embraer quality requirements with suppliers;
6. To perform audits and technical evaluations with suppliers;
7. To interface with internal areas (Production, manufacturing, supply chain, product engineering, etc.) in a coordinated and leading manner;
8. To lead projects of continuous improvement focusing on quality;
9. To support quality topics affecting the fleet.
How is the area:
Ensuring the quality of parts purchased, through the management of the quality of suppliers.
Main responsibilities
For this challenge, you must have:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering and be registered or eligible to register on the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA);
2. Availability to make international travels when needed;
3. Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking);
4. Experience of quality management system (AS9100, ISO9001) and lean manufacturing;
5. Experience using problem-solving tools (APQP, Pareto, 8D, Ishikawa, etc.);
6. Experience working directly with suppliers;
7. Solid experience working in Quality engineering.
It will be a plus if you have:
1. Experience in the aerospace sector;
2. International experience;
3. Knowledge of a third language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.).
