Job Description
Alcoa is seeking a Gerente de Engenharia - Ferrovia (Vaga Preferencial para Mulheres) to join our team at the Juruti – PA unit. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance activities, optimizing the use of labor, raw materials, and operational supplies, ensuring that activities are developed according to technical specifications and the safety, environmental, and quality standards established to achieve set production objectives. Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring the operational budget to maintain costs within levels compatible with those established by the company and seeking to reduce them through rational work methods and team motivation. Additionally, you will manage and direct the compliance with maintenance plans to achieve greater productivity/quality from the team at lower costs.
Main responsibilities include:
* Manage the Rolling Stock Engineering, Permanent Way, Operations, and PCM teams;
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies and asset plans;
* Monitor maintenance progress and control area indicators;
* Conduct critical reliability analysis and accident investigations;
* Write procedures and conduct training for the technical team;
* Perform field inspections.
What you can offer to the role:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (must have CREA);
* Postgraduate degree (desirable);
* Intermediate English (desirable);
* Knowledge and experience in maintenance activities of port equipment (Ship Unloaders/Loaders and Stackers) and maintenance of belt conveyors;
* Office Suite; Power BI;
* Good interpersonal relationships and active listening; focus and attention to task execution; high sense of organization, discipline, and prioritization;
* Willingness to reside in Juruti-PA (remote area);
* Work regime: in-person.
