Representing the voice of the customer, you will have input into product and commercial strategy and as such will have senior leadership exposure in strategy and planning sessions.As the RVS business grows in the region, there will be opportunities for growth as a Senior Sales Specialist.The complimentary nature of RVS products with other solutions across MI means you will have opportunities to build relationships with stakeholders across the MI division and across S&P Global.Responsibilities and Impact:The RVS business is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Market Intelligence (MI) Division. The varied product suite addresses client challenges in Credit Risk, Market Risk, Third Party Risk through its data, research, platforms and models, and services clients across Financial Institutions, Corporates and Governments. We are at the forefront of solving new challenges for clients as the market and regulatory landscape continues to change.As a Sales Specialist in the Latin America Region, you will be responsible for hitting revenue targets through expanding existing products and selling new products across Credit, Global Insights, and Data, Valuations and Risk Analytics.Within your territory, you will have exposure and responsibility to interact with prospects and clients across commercial segments including Investment Managers, Investment Banks, Private Equity firms, Commercial Banks, Insurance Companies, Governments, and Corporations, demonstrating how the RVS suite can underpin their critical business workflows.The RVS Sales Specialist is supported by a number of stakeholder teams including Product Specialists, Customer Success, Prospecting, Marketing, and Client Services.Specific Responsibilities of a Senior Sales Specialist for the LatAm region will include:Meet individual and team growth goals/quota which can be achieved through selling products to existing and whitespace across the RVS suite:CreditGlobal InsightsData, Valuations and Risk AnalyticsBuild and execute on book of business/territory strategy and identify opportunities for growth and expansionManage and mentor a small team of sales specialists in the region.Build strong connections with other Market Intelligence stakeholders in the region (e.g. Prospecting, credit customer success, and credit client services)Be an internal ambassador in the region for RVS across Business Units and divisions, collaborating closely with the Account Managers and Desktop Sales Specialists covering Latin America.Drive and track cross Business Unit, Cross Divisional and Synergy referrals and campaigns in the region.Build relationships with local regulatory bodies to understand the regulatory landscape and how the RVS suite can meet regulatory needs in the regionAdopt a structured and disciplined approach to tracking activity, pipeline accuracy, and forecastingEmbrace a customer-focused, diagnostic selling approachPartner closely with other internal stakeholders, such as Product Management, Market Development, Legal, and Client Support teams.What We’re Looking For:The RVS Revenue organization values partnership, relationships, and communication. In addition, we are looking for:Basic Required Qualifications:A strong commercial mindset with prior experience selling to, speaking to, or interacting with Risk personas, preferably in Latin America marketsAn understanding of fixed income/credit markets gained via experience at a financial institution, asset manager, or financial data/technology firm;Strong communication, organization, presentation, and negotiation skills. Confidence in meetings, presentations, and dealing with senior executives and decision makers remotely or in personCreative thinking and problem solving to drive solutions that address client needs with the RVS suite of solutionsBachelors or Master degree in a relevant disciplineFive + years relevant experienceSpanish, English, and Portuguese fluencyPlease note this recruitment process will be in the English language.
