This is your opportunity to go further and impact the future of urban mobility.Mission:He/she defines the manufacturing strategy for mechanical components, partnering with R&D to integrate design to manufacturing and cost requirements into the product design and with Purchasing and Quality departments to ensure supplier industrialization according to state of the art industry standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Define global manufacturing/sourcing strategy for mechanical subsystems.Define design to manufacturing and design to cost requirements and challenge product design to ensure implementation. Align product design documentation scope, format and contents with R&D.Estimate should cost of subsystems based on R&D drawings.Partner with Purchasing and Quality departments to support the supplier in implementing the latest technologies and applying Lean Manufacturing and TKE Production System standards.Define meaningful subsystem BOM structure, as well as the shipping box structure, aligned with elevator installation sequence.Define the packaging requirements and validate the supplier packaging design.Create industrialization timeline and identify critical path. Detail dependencies to design deliverables and other cross-functional deliverables. Manage related risks for implementation.Ensure discipline in applying TKE global product development and industrialization process standards, as well as other relevant TKE global standards.Main Professional Relations:R&DProject management officePurchasingQualityManufacturingExternal Relations.
